About Denver Trivia Zone
One list of every weekly bar trivia night in the Denver metro, checked by a person and never paid for.
Checked Oct 4, 2026This started with an r/Denver thread where someone catalogued 72 trivia spots and the comments kept adding more. No single site had the whole picture: each trivia company lists only its own bars, and the event sites are out of date. So this is the cross-host list: 322 weekly games at 297 spots, 36 host companies and the bars that write their own.
How listings are checked
Every listing shows the date it was last checked. A check means the night and start time were compared against the host company's current schedule or the venue's own events page. The last full pass was Oct 4, 2026.
- A game that drops off its host's schedule is pulled from the list until it can be confirmed.
- A listing that hasn't been confirmed in about four months shows its check date in orange. Treat it as a maybe.
- Bars change trivia nights without telling anyone. If tonight matters, look at the venue's own page before a long drive.
What this site won't do
No paid placement, no featured listings, no ranking for sale. Lists sort by start time, distance or name, and that is all. No accounts either: saved spots stay in your browser.
First time at bar trivia?
- Do I need a team?
- No. Tell the host you're solo and they will usually find you a team with room. Two people is a perfectly good team.
- Does it cost anything?
- Almost never. You buy your own food and drinks. Prizes are usually bar tabs or gift cards.
- When should I show up?
- Fifteen to thirty minutes before the start, earlier at popular spots. Most games start at 7:00 PM and run about two hours.
- Pen and paper or phone app?
- Most Denver hosts use paper answer sheets. A few use a phone app. Each listing says which, and you can filter for pen and paper.
